If your electric lawnmower is cutting out during the cutting of your lawn, fear not a few things can cause this problem.
The most likely reason is that grass is collecting but is clogging up the deck. This means that the motor is having to work extra hard, so shuts itself down until it has cooled down.
This sometimes occurs when the grass is damp or wet or when the deck hasn't been cleaned properly allowing grass to become built up. So a top tip with any electrical lawnmower before starting is to ensure the deck is clean of all grass clippings, WITH THE MACHINE UNPLUGGED. This should then prevent a gradual build up of any debris.
The built up debris can cause the lawnmower to shut down. So to try to resolve this switch the machine off, unplug the machine & clean the deck out thoroughly. This often resolves the issue.
